Jesslyn Whittell
Graduate Student, English, UCLA
Jesslyn Whittell (she/her) is a 3rd year graduate student in the English department at UCLA. Her research focuses on poetics, with a split emphasis on British Romanticism and contemporary poetry. She is interested in how patterns, routines, habits, loops, and citations shape collective urban spaces and how poetry represents these processes. Other interests include creative writing, experimental essay forms, and the overlap between creative and critical practice, all of which she is working to incorporate further into her teaching practice.
