John Baranski

Professor, History, El Camino College

John Baranski is Professor of History at El Camino College in Torrance, California. In his classes, as in his research, he examines the relationship between knowledge, place and identity, and power in urban settings. He is the author of Housing the City by the Bay: Tenant Activism, Civil Rights, and Class Politics in San Francisco (Stanford 2019).
