Laura Reizman

Laura Reizman is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures. Her research focuses on the intersection between militarism, ethnic nationalism, race and mixed-race politics in post-war South Korea. For EPIC, she is especially interested in exploring pedagogy that underscores the environment with human experience. She hopes to connect environmental humanities to her broader research and teaching interests that include critical race theory, transpacific area studies, ethnic studies, and gender & sexuality studies.
