Megan Stephan

Megan Stephan is a lecturer in UCLA’s Department of English and Faculty Coordinator for Writing in the English Major. Her research and teaching interests include 19^th-century British literature, Gothic literature, sensation fiction, women’s writing, the essay, and discipline-specific writing for English and humanities subjects. She received her BA in English from Brown University and her MPhil and DPhil degrees from the University of Oxford; before coming to UCLA, she spent nine years teaching English literature and composition to high school students in New York City and Los Angeles.
