Tamar Christensen

Tamar is a lecturer for the Department of Writing Programs where she teaches both lower and upper division courses in analytical composition, the subject of her co-authored textbook, Own Your Perspective. Her research, writing, and academic interests stem from the fields of History, Popular Culture, and Composition Studies. Her free time is often spent fostering community through her environmental work both on campus and in the wider community as an Organizer of “Zero Waste LA.”
