Vadim Shneyder

Vadim Shneyder is assistant professor of Russian in the Department of Slavic, East European and Eurasian Languages and Cultures, which he joined in 2015 after receiving his PhD from Yale University. He is currently writing his book, Russia’s Capitalist Realism, which examines the Russian novel’s response to the new spaces, temporalities, and relationships generated by social and economic transformation in the second half of the nineteenth century.
