Yan Zhou

Yan Zhou is a second year Ph.D. student in the Department of Asian Languages and Cultures. Her research interests include Interactional Linguistics, Conversation Analysis, Corpus Linguistics and sociocultural aspects of language usage. Yan has been teaching Mandarin in different institutions since 2012 and she is committed to applying linguistic research results to teaching Mandarin Chinese as a second language.
