Small Changes, Big Impact Workshop Series: Improvising the Classroom: Multimodal Strategies for Active Learning
EPIC cordially invites you to “Improvising the Classroom: Multimodal Strategies for Active Learning,” a part of the Small Changes, Big Impact Workshop Series (SCBI). EPIC’s signature Small Changes, Big Impact is a set of workshops on inclusive and equitable teaching practices. This workshop is designed for instructors who wish to incorporate active learning activities to help students achieve their learning outcomes and create a more engaging learning environment. Drawing on theories of Universal Design Language (UDL) principles–a pedagogical framework founded on principles of accessibility and inclusion–workshop participants will be introduced to different strategies for active participation that can be easily implemented in class with minimal preparation either synchronously or asynchronously. This workshop welcomes all instructors and TAs.
The Improvising the Classroom: Multimodal Strategies for Active Learning will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12:00 PM-1:30 PM. Please Register Here. Registration is open until October 28th.
