Ready, Set, Teach! Winter 2022 Undergraduate Student Panel
Jan 28, 2022 @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Zoom,
EPIC’s signature Ready, Set, Teach! event invites the community of Humanities instructors at UCLA to come together for practical discussions on topics in teaching and learning. EPIC welcomes the Winter quarter with insights from undergraduate students on what it means to be a student in this pandemic era and what they’d like their instructors to know. Topics include the impact of multiple transitions over the last few quarters– including toggling between in-person and remote instruction–on student learning and health and wellness.
The virtual panel will take place January 28, 2022 from 11-12 PM PDT. Our panelists are three students majoring and minoring in various fields across the Humanities:
- Herman Luis Chavez, 4th year, Comparative Literature and Ethnomusicology
- Rashi Garg, 3rd year, Philosophy and Statistics
- Minh-Thu Nguyen, 3rd year, History
- JohnDavid (JD) Barton, Psy.D., RISE/CAPS Clinical Psychologist
This event will be facilitated by Katie Healey, Ph.D., CEILS Assoc. Dir. for Collaborative Initiatives in Faculty Development
