Seeking Facilitators for Upcoming EPIC Summer Institute (ESI) on Course Design

The EPIC team is seeking applicants for facilitators for our first EPIC Summer Institute (ESI) on Course Design taking place Tuesday, September 6 through Friday, September 9, 2022.

Facilitators will provide constructive feedback on course design-related assignments to a small cohort of 3-4 faculty members, and lead daily cohort meetings to discuss ESI content (see tentative schedule). In addition to being available throughout the ESI to consult with faculty on course design, facilitators must also attend a mandatory one-hour orientation over Zoom prior to the ESI (tentatively scheduled for Thursday, September 1 from 11AM to 12PM). Facilitators will receive $1,200 in research funds for senate faculty or professional development funds for non-senate faculty in compensation.

Ideal candidates should be comfortable using Bruin Learn, and be committed to creating inclusive and accessible learning spaces for students and fostering an open and supportive learning community around inclusive course design.
