Conversations on Course Design: STE Panel
Please join us for Conversations on Course Design, a panel discussion on the experience of designing inclusive courses in Medical, Digital, and Environmental Humanities. Through EPIC’s Course Development Seminars in Teaching Excellence (STE) small cohorts of faculty and graduate students worked collaboratively across disciplines and levels of experience to workshop and create the major elements of fully designed, ready-to-teach courses in experimental humanities. Hear more about the STE’s approach to embedding equity and accessibility in all aspects of the design process and how our panelists worked individually and with those in their cohort to develop their courses.
Join us and our panelists Efraín Kristal (Distinguished Professor, Spanish and Comparative Literature), Romy Sutherland (Assistant Adjunct Professor, Comparative Literature), Jennifer Jung-Kim (Lecturer, Asian Languages and Cultures), and Spencer Robins (PhD Candidate, English) for a lively and interactive conversation in-person on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at 3:30-5:00 pm in Powell 186. The event will be facilitated by Dr. David MacFadyen (EPIC Faculty Co-Director and Professor, Comparative Literature). Light refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP here. We hope to see you there!
